Dr. Julie Budreau

My name is Julie Budreau. I grew up in Northern Virginia and attended my first year of college at Virginia Tech. I finished my undergraduate degree and received my Veterinary degree at Kansas State University (1988). I have been practicing in Cedar Falls ever since. My husband, (“Dr. Danny”) and I have three children, (two sons and a daughter), a granddaughter, a grandson and a granddog! At home we have three dogs, three cats, and a bunny. Interacting with my pets is one of my very favorite things to do when I’m home! All of our pets are extremely spoiled to say the least. In my spare time, I love spending time with my children and grandchildren as often as I can. I like making scrapbooks for my kids and my friends, watching women’s college and professional basketball and I also really enjoy music. I try to never miss a chance to attend a concert! I knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was eight years old, and I couldn’t be happier with my career choice these last 36 years. I have a strong passion for always wanting to give the best and most compassionate care to each and every one of my patients and their human parents and families.

Dr. Danny Budreau

My name is Danny Budreau. I grew up on a farm in Concordia Kansas and attended Kansas State Veterinary School in for both my undergraduate and Veterinary degree (1989). I have been practicing in this area ever since. Being from a farm, I’m no stranger to hard work and dedicated animal care. I have been around small animals and farm animals all my life. I enjoy all aspects of my job here at Budreau Veterinary Clinic including performing surgeries, being the manager of the business part of the practice, and being able to work on dogs, cats and farm animals as well. I like the fact that this job is never boring because no two days are the same at the clinic when it comes to running the business and caring for my patients and clients. In my spare time, I enjoy seeing my children and grandchildren as often as I can. I also really like raising their pet cows and bulls, fishing, gardening, golf, and watching sports.

Wendy Niemeyer

My name is Wendy. I have been working in the animal care field for over 30 years and have worked at the clinic for over 21 years! I enjoy working with dogs and cats but also have experience with exotics as well. Some of the pets I have had over the years

include: rats, ferrets , rabbits, mice , hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, lizards, geckos, and fish. As a kennel technician I care for the pets that stay at the clinic. These tasks include walking, feeding, and giving water as well as giving baths the day they go home. Administering medications assisting the vets and the techs as needed as well and general clean up.

Lyric Dutton

Hello, my name is Lyric. I have been with Budreau Vet Clinic since February 2024. Around the clinic I help with many things, including the boarding animals, surgery, reception, and appointments. I grew up in Buckingham, IA on a cattle farm but now live just north of Raymond with my boyfriend, James. We have 3 dogs , 8 cat and a turtle inside! We have a small hobby farm as well that includes quail, ducks, chickens, geese, rabbits & barn cats . I have a niche for taking in special needs animals or ones with disabilities. Animals have always been a passion of mine since growing up.

Alannah Ruch

Hi! My name is Alannah, I have been grooming since 2013 and have been grooming at Budreau Veterinary Clinic since June of 2019. I have 5 dogs of my own! I look forward to pampering your fur babies!!!

Amber

I’m Amber and I’ve been with the clinic four years. I’m currently the office manager so I help with all aspects of the clinic operations. When I’m not working you can find me camping with family, crafting or working with the many different animals that I raise as a hobby. I am pictured here with my baby goat Herky (Go Hawks)!
